Leelanau Blue is a stunning 2,225 square foot home featuring 4 bedrooms and 100 feet of pristine lake frontage on Lake Leelanau. This family-owned property has been cherished for over 30 years, with the current residence constructed in 2003 and can accommodate up to a maximum of ten guests. Its prime location offers easy access to numerous wineries, the iconic Fish Town, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, and much more. The main floor consists of two bedrooms with queen beds and a luxurious master suite boasting a king-sized bed, a master bath, and a relaxing jacuzzi tub—ideal for unwinding after a day of summer sun. Upstairs, children can enjoy their own retreat in the loft, which features two sets of twin bunk beds, a half bath, and a TV for streaming. This loft area is also climate-controlled with its own central A/C unit, allowing kids to plan their next adventures in comfort.
The kitchen is expansive and well-equipped for all your meal preparation needs. It connects to a dining room that offers stunning views of the lake. A propane grill is conveniently placed on the back deck, near the kitchen and overlooking the water, making it ideal for outdoor barbecues with a picturesque backdrop.
We encourage guests to take some time to unwind in the three-season room, which can be accessed from both the master bedroom and the deck. Grab a book and settle into the comfortable rattan furniture while enjoying the stunning water views and the tranquility of Leelanau Blue. Furthermore, the home features ample outdoor seating areas overlooking Lake Leelanau, along with a quiet, shaded front porch for a more serene experience.
Leelanau Blue features a dock available for your use if you intend to bring a boat during your stay. The dock is suitable for one boat only, with a maximum length of 22 feet. Stone steps provide access into the water and another set leads down to the dock. For everyone's safety, trailers of any kind are not permitted on site due to the nearby curve in the road and the steep driveway.
Please be aware that this home is rented for your peaceful enjoyment. For liability, township regulations, and insurance reasons, day guests are not allowed without explicit permission from the host. The maximum guest capacity of ten must never be exceeded. Failure to comply with this rule may result in a fine or eviction, as stated in our terms and conditions agreed upon during the rental process. Capacity limits are strictly enforced and subject to random checks. Please note that there are outdoor security cameras on the premises.
As this is a residential location, Leelanau Blue does not allow any pets, smoking, fireworks, bonfires or parties of any kind.
Leelanau Blue is provided with a starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, napkins, garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap and/or dish washer pods for your convenience. Depending on your length of stay and usage, you may need to purchase more of these items.
Check-in is at 4:00 PM on your arrival day, while check-out is at 10:00 AM on your departure day. To enhance your experience, Leelanau Blue offers remote entry technology, and access codes will be sent to you prior to your arrival.
